A patient complained about the rudeness of the male NP and the female nurse inside their clinic. She threatened to call police on the patient. At least two persons (the receptionist and a female worker) in the lobby, heard what the patient said, "I am giving you 5 minutes to call police, then I will leave".
Is it illegal that a nurse calls police on a patient with high blood pressure and high anxiety inside their urgent care clinic when the patient even does not say a single swear word?
The male NP heard the female nurse threatening to call police in his office. Why didn't he stop her?
Could they lose their licenses?
